Amanda Gray, MA, Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor
Amanda Gray is the founder and owner of AGCS. She holds a bachelor of arts in psychology and a minor in business at Texas A&M University as well as a masters of arts in counseling from Sam Houston State University, and a supervision title from University of Texas Arlington.
​
She specializes in trauma informed care, CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, IFS, Attachment, Play therapy, Sand Tray therapy and animal assisted therapy.
​
She has shifted focus somewhat from being fully dedicated to seeing clients to providing supervision and consultation to other providers with the goal of cultivating stellar mental health providers to serve our community at a larger scale.

Anne Storrie, MA, Licensed Professional Counselor
Anne earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Texas A&M University, then received her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
She enjoys working with clients of all ages and stages, and is particularly adept at helping those with anxiety, depression, spiritual issues, women’s issues, and parenting skills. Anne’s main objective in working with clients is to give them a safe and comfortable place to work through any problems they may face.

In addition to working at AGCS, Anne has founded her own private practice, Cottonwood Creek Counseling.

Courtney Cassle, MS, Licensed Professional Counselor
Courtney Cassle joined AGCS back in September 2019 as an LPC associate. As of January 2022, she became a Licensed Professional Counselor. We are thrilled to have her stay on our team!​ She attended school at Texas A&M University and Abilene Christian University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology as well as a Masters of Science in Counseling. Additionally, she has met all standards to hold a professional counseling license in the state of Texas.​
Since then, she has received specialized training in the following areas:
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Mary Walker, MA, Licensed Professional Counselor
Mary Walker is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Amanda Gray, MA, LPCS, NBCC and Leigh Muths, MA, LPCS. She joined the AGCS team in November of 2022. Mary attended school at Sam Houston State University and Stephen F. Austin State University. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Sociology from SHSU along with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from SFASU.

Alexis Cooper-Nevarez, MS, Licensed Professional Counselor
Alexis Nevarez-Cooper joined the AGCS team in September 2023. She earned her B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Latino/a Mexican American Studies from Texas A&M University, and later completed her M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Houston–Victoria. After fulfilling all requirements to become both an LPC Associate and a National Certified Counselor, Alexis officially became a Licensed Professional Counselor in May 2025 and is fully licensed to practice in the state of Texas.
Alexis is deeply committed to creating a warm, affirming space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. She brings a compassionate and culturally responsive lens to her work, honoring the complexities of each client’s lived experience. Alexis specializes in grief and trauma work, identity exploration, and supporting clients through life transitions with empathy and care. She is especially passionate about working with diverse populations and strives to create a space where people from all backgrounds feel welcome and understood. Alexis utilizes multiple therapy modalities, including training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Aimee Voss, MEd, Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Amanda Gray, MA, LPCS
Aimée Voss joined the AGCS team in May of 2024. She graduated from Lamar University with a Bachelor of Science in Health and a minor in Psychology. Aimée obtained a Master of Education in Counseling and
Development – Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling from Lamar University, as well.

Lissette Palacios is a counseling student intern under the supervision of Amanda Gray, MA, LPCS. She joined the AGCS team in August 2024. Lissette graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor's degree in psychology and minors in business and Spanish. She is currently pursuing her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Our Lady of the Lake University.

Brooke Cortez is a counselor student under the supervision of Amanda Gray, MA, LPCS. She joined the AGCS team in January 2025. She attended school at Sam Houston State University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Victim Studies. She is currently pursuing her master's degree as a Licensed Professional Counselor through West Texas A&M University.

Storrie Denton, BA Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Amanda Gray, MA, LPCS
Storrie holds a bachelor’s degree in Leadership from Texas A&M University, and a Master’s degree in Counseling from West Texas A&M University.
She is passionate about working with children, adolescents, teens, and young adults. Her particular areas of specialization are anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, and low self-esteem, but she is able to work with anyone looking for help in reaching their personal therapeutic goals.

Darrell Nichols, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Student, under the supervision of Amanda Gray, MA, LPCS, and Dr. Ryan Lloyd
Howdy! I’m Darrell Nichols, a Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) counselor intern at AGCS under the supervision of Amanda Gray, MA, LPC-S, and Dr. Ryan Lloyd, LMFT-S. I joined the AGCS team in August 2025. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in 2014, and I’m currently pursuing my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy through Abilene Christian University.
One of the mantras I try to live by is: “We can’t change what we can’t name.” I believe you are the expert of your own lived experience. My role is to help you clarify what’s happening—within you and within your relationships—so you feel more grounded, more informed, and better positioned for success moving forward.

Meghan McCracken is a counseling student intern under the supervision of Amanda Gray, MA, LPCS. She joined the AGCS team in August 2025. Meghan graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and holds a bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She is currently pursuing her masters degree in clinical mental health counseling through Adams State University.

Elizabeth Dodge, Licensed Professional Counselor Student, under the supervision of Amanda Gray, MA, LPCS
Elizabeth, or Lizzy, Dodge is a Bryan native who has joined our team as an LPC student intern in her first internship semester at Sam Houston State University. Lizzy earned her bachelor's degree in Anthropology from A&M University, and she is currently working on her Master's in Clinical Mental Health while also pursuing a certificate in Play Therapy at Sam Houston.
She loves to work with kids ages 3 and up, but believes everyone is a kid at heart, so she welcomes adolescent and adult clients as well! Her common forms of practice include mindfulness exercises, Sand Tray Therapy, Play Therapy, expressive arts, and traditional talk therapy.

Citlali Carrizales, Licensed Professional Counselor Student, under the supervision of Amanda Gray, MA, LPCS,
Hi, I’m Citlali, and I am currently a student intern at AGCS. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Sam Houston State University and am continuing my education there by pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, along with a certificate in Play Therapy.
I believe that everyone deserves a safe space to be themselves and receive support. I welcome clients of all ages, with a special focus on children. Additionally, I am bilingual in Spanish, which allows me to serve clients who may feel more comfortable communicating in that language.
